DEPARTMENT OF PANCHAKARMA
The Department of Panchakarma at KMCT Ayurveda Medical College is a vital part of the institution, specializing in the classical Ayurvedic purification therapies. Panchakarma, which translates to "five actions," focuses on detoxifying and rejuvenating the body through treatments such as vamana, virechana, nasya, basti, and raktamokshana. The department is equipped with modern facilities while adhering to traditional Ayurvedic principles, offering both inpatient and outpatient care. An integrated approach combining Panchakarma with physiotherapy is also emphasized, blending ancient Ayurvedic wisdom with modern therapeutic practices to enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation. Under the guidance of experienced practitioners, students receive hands-on training, mastering both Panchakarma and physiotherapy techniques for holistic health care.
