Department of Dravyaguna is working in the field of academic education and research for understanding of basic principles of drug action through Ayurvedic point of view. And scientific validation of classical drugs and medicinal plants. This department is continuously nurturing the students by imparting quality education to undergraduate students by blending the knowledge of interdisciplinary understanding with practical demonstration of crude drugs and its adulterants.

• To strengthen Ayurveda on scientific groups through research studies conducted on concepts of Dravyaguna and medicinal plants mode of action using scientific technology.
• To facilitate patient care in the hospital by conducting laboratory tests ensuring the highest standards of quality in selection of raw material for preparation of medicine.
